Our collection of reverse printed, frame-less, free floating, tempered glass?was inspired by the French technique of Verre Eglomise in which artist's literally painted the back of clear glass so that when viewed from the front the painting is brought to life under the depth of the glass. This piece depicts a striding leopard in perfect elegance, long-limbed and slender of body. The speed and power behind this sleek form can be seen under the surface. This highly detailed image allows you to see the individual hairs on this otherwise enigmatic creature, a voyeuristic treat for the eyes. The image is rendered black and white, with white as the focus, making the leopard seem almost like a moving collection of spots. The eye begins to see strange patterns in the fur, which takes on a 3D quality.
